Wave Hill House, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, dates back to the mid-19th century. The house was built as a country home in 1843 by jurist William Lewis Morris, and has a storied history, including housing Theodore Roosevelt's family, Mark Twain, and Arturo Toscanini.
