Affiliated with the City of Orlando, the Mennello draws from the City's Permanent Collection which holds more than 900 pieces including paintings, sculptures, photographs, tapestries and mixed media. Among the Mennello Museum’s own permanent collection are paintings by self-taught artist Earl Cunningham (1893-1977).

Located in Loch Haven Cultural Park on the shore of Lake Formosa, minutes from downtown Orlando, the Mennello Museum uses its multiple gallery spaces to showcase changing exhibitions featuring American art of all genres and time periods, including original as well as traveling shows.

The Sculpture Garden is always open and is known for “The Mayor,” a 350-year-plus sprawling live oak tree draped with Spanish moss.
